Got tired of brain dead "humans do it too" defense from genAI boosters /apologists regarding bad code by chatbots so I actually looked up something that would immediately shut down their baseless assertions (by the way, their legion seems to really have this habit of fallaciously arguing by assertion with no backing). It was a study by CodeRabbit, no less (admittedly in their commercial interest to do so):
